What's in your pneumo?
Lexion Medical is the pioneer and world leader in gas conditioning technology

The original gas conditioner
Traditional Pneumo is cold (21˚ C) and dry (.002% RH), while the peritoneum is warm and moist. The Insuflow® delivers heated and humidified carbon dioxide (35˚C & 95% RH) during laparoscopic surgery to reduce the harmful effects of cold and dry insufflation.
Improved visualisation
Heating and humidifying the carbon dioxide for insufflation as it enters the body, dramatically reduces incidence of lens-fogging for optimal visualisation.
When to use Insuflow® vs. InsuflowPORT®?

Insuflow® is designed for use in shorter cases where pneumo stability and heavy suction/smoke evacuation is not a concern. Insuflow® is designed to offer heat, humidity and higher flow rates than standard tubing sets; however, for maximum performance, InsuflowPORT® should be used.

InsuflowPORT® is designed for all laparoscopic and robotic procedures, especially those in which high suction and smoke evacuation is employed. InsuflowPORT® provides heat, humidity, high flow, and real time pressure sensing for maximum performance and enhanced visualisation and safety.
